IDYLLIC PAROUSIA

THE CURATORS

K.A. Perkins &
S.N. Perkins

Founders and curators of Idyllic Parousia. A Black-owned creative house with an open invitation to everyone.

“We are not trying to present a perfect life. We are trying to live a present one.”

Idyllic Parousia grew from the part of our lives where we simply live: taking the drive, visiting the museum, finding a restaurant, walking near water, planting something, laughing, making things and discovering places we did not know existed.

We gather those discoveries here through Field Notes, photography, art, travel, food, gardens, relationships and everyday experiments in living with more attention.

We are not experts on everything worth experiencing. We are curators—people willing to go, see, learn, make, grow, taste, reflect and share what seems worth bringing home.

Notes from
the life we’re living.

An occasional letter about places, objects, books, gardens, food, faith, art and things worth noticing. No noise for the sake of staying visible.
